WRITER. AUTHOR.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR.
MOTHER. WIFE. DAUGHTER.
FRANCOPHILE. CITY GIRL.
NATURE LOVER. SWEET FREAK.
As a copywriter | creative director in the ad world, I establish brand platforms, create 360 campaigns, and write social and video content. As an editorial writer, I cover everything from public school lunches to cooking Persian food to how to spend 36 Hours in Buenos Aires.
I love crafting stories. Whether for a brand or an article, digging behind the scenes, letting my imagination have a long leash, and putting together narratives that deliver truth, inspiration and maybe a little joy or wonder… that’s about as good as it gets.
In 2012, I authored the best-selling “foodoir” (food journalism meets memoir), Paris, My Sweet: A Year in the City of Light (and Dark Chocolate). I followed it up in 2018 with Brooklyn In Love: A Memoir of Food, Family and Finding Yourself. As a multitasking mama, I tell myself I will get around to writing another book.
This site is a collection of some of my work (want to see more? Contact me!), along with the occasional blog post, work update, industry rant and pass-along tip apropos of nothing.
My writing has appeared in The New York Times, T Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic Traveler,
New York Magazine, Town & Country, Bust,
Every Day with Rachel Ray and others.
